Why do we collect your personal information ?
Collecting your information is essential for us to provide our products and services to you. It also helps us to understand your needs, enabling us to provide you with a greater quality of service.
How do we collect personal information ?
We only collect information when you knowingly provide it. Collection may include requesting information by phone, filling out a registration form on check-in, providing your business card to us, or e-mailing or faxing us your details.
Do we disclose your personal information to anyone ?
We may disclose your personal information where you have consented to us doing so. We may also be required or authorised by law to disclose your personal information.
Is your personal information up-to-date ?
It is important that the personal information we collect is accurate, complete and up-to-date. You can contact us at any time to update your personal information, or to tell us if your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete.
Is your personal information secure ?
We take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your personal information from misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. When your information is no longer required we securely destroy it from our systems.
Can you access your personal information ?
You may request access to the information we hold about you by contacting us. We may be required by law to retain your personal information after you have ceased your relationship with us.
Does your personal information leave the country ?
We do not send personal information outside the country unless to do so is authorised by law.
What about sensitive information ?
Sensitive information can be about racial or ethnic origin, membership of a profession or trade, personal health or other personal information. We only collect, use or disclose sensitive information about you as is allowed by law.
Our privacy policy may change from time to time.
We constantly review our policies and procedures to keep up-to-date with changes in law, technology and the needs of our guests and we may change this policy from time to time.
Can you complain about a breach of your privacy ?

Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. By making a booking and paying the deposit the “Guest” acknowledges and agrees that these Booking Terms and Conditions apply to them and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the apartment or complex at the invitation or with the permission of the primary guest. Where a booking is made on behalf of another person, the person making the booking warrants that these Booking Terms and Conditions have been brought to the attention of that person.
The Lookout Resort is a member of Good to Book, an industry platform that helps uphold property standards and manage guest behaviour. If a serious rule breach or conduct issue occurs during your stay, incident details may be recorded with Good to Book in line with their policies.
By booking or checking in, you agree to the Good to Book Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which explains how your information may be collected, used, and shared. Copies of these documents are available via the GTB website and also available at reception.
Deposit:
Upon making a reservation, you will receive a confirmation letter. Please review all details carefully and contact us immediately if you have any concerns. A deposit equivalent to one night’s accommodation is required at the time of booking. If payment is not received within the specified terms for your booking, the property reserves the right to cancel your reservation. Please also refer to the booking cancellation terms below.

Information about your stay:
Your apartment is fully self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. We provide items such as a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, linen, bath and pool towels.
Included In Your Unit is a complimentary starter pack, supplied in your room upon arrival. This pack includes a small supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, soap, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder, and a Chux. If /when you require more supplies, please purchase them from the local supermarkets conveniently located in Noosa Junction.
Please note: These items are not replenished during your stay. For booking 7 nights or more a mid-stay linen change is included.
Arrivals & Departures:
Check in time at The Lookout Resort is after 2.00 pm and check-out time is before 10.00 am. If you plan to arrive after office hours, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your arrival so we can organize the afterhours arrival procedures. If the booking was made through an online travel agency, please refer to the terms and conditions provided by that agency.
Upon check-in, the Guest must present valid government-issued photo identification and a credit card with a matching name for verification purposes and to cover accommodation charges and/or any incidental costs. If you are unable to provide such identification, your reservation may be cancelled.
Accommodation:
The Guest shall park their vehicle in the designated parking space. One (1) car space is allocated free of charge per property booking within the secure basement parking facility.
All vehicles are parked at the sole risk of the owner.
Reservations are confirmed per the room category. Unit numbers, location, and/or aspects can be requested, but are subject to availability and are not guaranteed nor confirmed until the day of arrival.
The maximum number of guests permitted to occupy the apartment at any time, is strictly limited to the following:
- 1 Bedroom Apartment: no more than 2 guests
- 2 Bedroom Apartment: no more than 4 guests
- 3 Bedroom Apartment: no more than 6 guests
Exceeding these limits constitutes a breach of the booking terms and may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund and/or additional charges.
No personal bedding or additional beds are permitted. Additional guests not permitted to sleep on the floor or furniture. All additional guests will attract additional charges.
In an event of an owner renovating, utilising for own use, selling the apartment, or taking it out of the letting pool, the Manager will try to find a suitable alternative within The Lookout Resort. If there is no other apartment available, the Manager will not be responsible to find or pay for accommodation at another resort.
Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the Guest Registration Form, unless additional nights have been organised with Management prior to scheduled departure date.
There is no refund for an early departure, force or otherwise.
The guest is responsible for the cost of any damage, loss, or missing items from the apartment or Body Corporate property. Additional charges may apply if items are moved between apartments or found missing on departure. This includes replacement of lost keys (including the total cost of replacing the key’s and remote tags as required).
The Body Corporate, the Manager, and the apartment owner are not liable for any damage or loss of property that the Guest may sustain while on the complex. This includes missing items from the apartment.
In consideration of other guests, outdoor noise must cease by 9pm and indoors by 10pm.
While care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities at The Lookout Resort is accurate, the Manager, Body Corporate and Apartment Owners are not liable for any inaccuracies or misrepresentations regarding the description of the apartment or the complex.
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors of guests.
No substance whatsoever is to be thrown from windows or balconies.
Strictly no glass inside the fenced pool area. If the pool has to be closed due to the conduct or actions of a Guest or a Guest’s invitees, the Guest is liable for all resulting costs in draining, cleaning and refilling the pool
Pets are not permitted within the apartments or the complex.
The Apartment must not be used for any unlawful purpose
Condition of Property:
You agree to maintain the property and all its contents—including furnishings, kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery, and glassware—in a clean and proper condition. Bed linen, blankets, and towels must also be left in good condition. Any damage or soiling of bedding or towels caused by hair dyes, oils, make-up, or other substances may incur additional charges. You further agree to ensure that all electrical appliances and white goods are left clean and in proper working order.
If an apartment is left in a condition that requires more than standard cleaning, such as excessive rubbish, spills, or damage, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Upon departure all refuse and rubbish is to be deposited in the chutes next to the lift on each level. Failure to do so may incur an extra rubbish removal and/or cleaning charge.
Guests must promptly notify management of any defects, damage, or issues with the property or its contents. Any damage or breakage caused by the guest must be reported immediately to allow for timely repair or replacement.
The guest is responsible for the cost of any damage, loss, or missing items from the apartment or Body Corporate property. Additional charges may apply if items are moved between apartments or found missing on departure.
The guest agrees to cover the nightly rate for any days the apartment cannot be rented out due to damage caused during their stay. The apartment must not be used for unlawful purposes
The Guest authorises the Manager to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which the Guest is liable under this document or otherwise.
Breakdowns
Management accepts no liability for any inconvenience caused by the breakdown of machinery or appliances. Every reasonable effort will be made to repair, replace, or provide an alternative as soon as possible.
Renovations and Construction:
Guests acknowledge that properties and facilities within the Noosa area may, at times, be subject to ongoing renovations or construction at adjacent properties. Such activities are beyond the control of management, who shall not be held liable for any actions, interruptions, or disturbances caused by third parties.
In the event that renovations or construction occur within the complex, management will use reasonable efforts to minimise any disturbance to guests. However, guests acknowledge that management accepts no liability for any inconvenience, noise, or disruption arising from such activities, and no compensation shall be payable for any disturbances or inconveniences resulting from building maintenance or construction works.
No Party / School-Leaver Policy:
The Lookout Resort has a strict no-party policy and does not accept “Schoolie” or school-leaver bookings.
All guests under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or an individual aged eighteen (18) or over. Management reserves the right to refuse any booking where the accompanying adult cannot provide valid, current photo identification at check-in.
Any persons found to be attending or participating in “Schoolies” or similar events at the time of check-in will not be granted accommodation, and no refunds will be issued.
Smoking and Vaping:
The Lookout Resort is a smoke-free property. Smoking and/or vaping is strictly prohibited in all apartments, on balconies, and throughout the resort’s common areas. If smoke is detected in an apartment there will be a charge payable by the Guest of two additional night’s accommodation to return the apartment to its non smoking status as well as the cost of dry-cleaning bedspreads, curtains and cleaning mattresses and carpets should it be required.
Equipment Use
All equipment located at the Property, including but not limited to the gymnasium, is used entirely at the user’s own risk. This applies to all Guests, occupants, and visitors to the Property. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Owner of the Property, the Body Corporate, nor The Lookout Resort accepts any responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from or in connection with the use of such equipment, including damage to the Property or personal injury.
Direct Booking Cancellation Policy
All direct bookings are fully refundable up until 14 days prior to arrival.
Inside 14 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable, and full payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. A confirmation will be issued once payment has been processed.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Cancellations made by phone or phone message will not be accepted.
Weather conditions are unfortunately not within our control and therefore no refund will be given based on poor weather conditions.
For reservations made via a travel agent or online travel agency, please refer to the individual provider’s terms and conditions for their specific cancellation policies.
We strongly recommend guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
Deposit Policy
A deposit equivalent to one (1) night’s accommodation is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is payable on the day of arrival.
No-Show Policy
In the event of a no-show, 100% of the booking total is forfeited.
Compliance With Noosa Short Term Stay Laws
The Noosa Shire Council Short Term Accommodation (Administration (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2021), requires all guests to Noosa to comply with a Guest Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct forms part of the booking conditions of The Lookout Resort.

Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms and Conditions, The Lookout Resort and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profit, loss of use, or loss of opportunity, arising from or in connection with the performance or non-performance of obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
Management reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice.
